Small Group Academic Coaching Course – Fall 2020

This class is intended for rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Each week, this small group course will address a common school challenge, and students will practice and apply research-based strategies. In addition to the group class, each student will have a weekly one- on-one coaching session to check grades, monitor progress, and problem-solve.

Course Goal: Students become more effective learners and develop habits for success in school and beyond.

Structure

1. Private 1-on-1 Initial Family Meeting
2. Group Classes will be held on Mondays from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Denver Test Prep office.
3. One-on-One Coaching Sessions: Each 30-minute coaching session will take place virtually the same week as the group class.
4. Private 1-on-1 Semester Exit Meeting to transition from semester 1 to semester 2.

Cost

The fee for the fall semester is $1,295, payable in two installments (40%+ savings compared to regular 1-on-1 program cost). Registration will be capped at 6 students. Additional registrants will be added to the waitlist.
