Private Middle School and High School Admissions Exams
The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam), HSPT (High School Placement Test), and the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) are the three common exams Denver area students may need to take in order to apply to private and boarding schools. Most students applying to private or boarding schools take at least one of these exams in late elementary school and/or late middle school, depending when they plan to enroll in or transfer to a new school. Scoring well on these exams will strengthen a student’s application and give them the best chance of being accepted to the school of their choice.
Tests are stressful. Finding the right tutor shouldn’t be.
For most students applying to a private or boarding school, the entrance exams are their first high pressure standardized test experience. This can be stressful for young students. Tutor support can help to ease testing taking anxiety for students. Additionally, tutoring prepares them for the length of the exams, which can also be challenging for youngsters. Denver Test Prep carefully pairs students with a tutor who best fits the student’s learning needs and personality. The tutoring experience helps students to be better test takers throughout their learning career.
